This is a 1966 Pontiac GTO, 1:18 scale diecast model car, prduced by Ertl, for Performance Years Enterprises, in conjunction with the "Pontiac Nationals". The featured model is issue #2 and a limited edition diecast replica of the well known as raced "Tin Indian" GTO, sponsored by "Knafel Pontiac", of Akron Ohio, and driven by Larry "DOC" Dixon, this is a must have for all Drag race & Pontiac enthusiasts alike!  This model is finished a tri-tone paint scheme of Tuxedo Black / Tiger Gold /& White, plus all the as raced graphic's, it is optioned with a Black interior, bucket seats, center console with a floor mounted 4-speed manual trans, and a simulated wood steering wheel. The model you are looking at rides on Firestone raised white letter tires up front, and a large pair of M&H Racemaster drag slicks at the rear, both mounted on what appear to be Hurst style mag wheels. This model has never been on display, nor has it ever been removed from it's original factory packaging, plus the outside window display box is in very nice condition with only very minor shelf wear!
