Chameleon Ultra Low-Visibility Tippet

This tippet material is formulated to allow it to change colour hues to match the water and light conditions that it is present in. It also has a mottled finish which further enhances its camouflage characteristics. This tippet material has low memory and also a finer diameter than other tippet material of the same test strength. All these attributes make it ideal for use when fishing nymphs on a dropper.

It has very high abrasion resistance making it ideal for fishing around rocks and snags.

It was used and tested rigorously in the streams in NE Victoria throughout November/December 2018 and worked superbly. The photo of the tippet material in use was kindly provided courtesy of my friend, Scottie, at Indulgence Flyfishing who kindly put it to use and thoroughly tested it for me.

About “At the Riverbend’

I am a fly fisherman based in Victoria who ties flies when the weather isn’t any good or work or family commitments prevent me from making it out onto the water.

My goal is to provide a range of good value fly tying materials and fly fishing accessories to encourage others to enjoy the sport of fly fishing, but also the art of fly tying.

Even though the range has grown, I am still just one bloke in the back room who packs each item and checks each order before it is sent, to make sure you are getting materials or accessories that my fellow fly fishing friends and I use regularly.
