We work closely with an insurance company and this part is on consignment to resell.

Some parts are bought in by them for warranty spares and kept till out of warranty and then released as obsolete stock.

Other parts are new laptops that are returned within 30 or 90 days and then stripped by them and kept for warranty spares(harvest).
