This DVD is a US Army Air Forces film on
Surviving in the Arctic. This story is about how to survive if your
plane went down in the arctic or snow. This is a great 2 reel film
on how to survive in the cold and snow and was part of a AAF "LAND and
LIVE" series that the Army produced during WW2. If you ever watched
the "Survivor man", "Duel Survivors" or "Man vs.
Wild", You can see where they might have got the informational skills to
survive. Fire, shelter, and food and signaling are the primary
skills needed for a pilot to live after they crash land. These skills are
just as valid today as they were then. We hope you'll enjoy.
