I am pleased to offer this Antique c. 1930s Original Franz Stiasny Cast Bronze Beethoven Portrait Medal! This beautiful small portrait medal has a raised side profile of the famous composer Beethoven and is marked "F. Stiasny" at the right bottom corner.

Franz Stiasny (1881-1941) was a polish artist who produced a large series of portrait medals. His series focused around important figures in history, including writers, musicians and historic icons. Various medals were cast in Austria in the 1930s.

This antique portrait medal is in very good condition for its age, showing a dark patina. The backside has deep hits, but it does not harm the front.
