small American family business dedicated to the preservation of rare,

This DVD
is a collection of very RARE films on the Famous USN Douglas A-4 Skyhawk. The
amazing little Skyhawk was designed to replace the aging AD-1 Skyraider. Because
the Skyhawk was a very efficient design with a Delta wing, it did not need to
have folding wings. Thus, it was very light, fast and reliable. What an
aircraft! We hope you'll enjoy.
1st Film; "ID the A-4
Skyhawk". This is a great
Navy film on the A-4 Skyhawk and it's visual characteristics. We added extra footage of great carrier

2nd Film; "Skyhawk Blue
Angels". This film is by
the Navy about a day and a life of a the "Blue Angels" and their team
as they go to airshow to airshow in America. See the pilots and the crew as

3rd Film; "Ready on Arrival". This is a great US Navy film
on the importance of the USN being used around the world. Narrated by Alexander Scourby, Lots of
carrier action and A-4 Skyhawks, plus many other Navy aircraft at the time. Runtime 28:17 Min's
4th Film; "Skyhawk Newsreels". This is
a collection of short newsreels on the Skyhawk. 1st, Military Miracles 1950's
includes the YA Skyhawk. 2nd, Navy tests the Skyhawk. 3rd, A4 Skyhawk
attack in Vietnam. 4th, Skyhawks and F4 Pantoms land on carriers. Runtime

5th Film; "James Stockdale,
POW". This is a story
most folks don't know about. James Stockdale was a Naval A-4 Skyhawk pilot from
the carrier USS Oriskany that was shot down over Vietnam. He was there for the next 7 years as a POW
and was the guiding light for all of the other downed pilots that were
unfortunate to have to be a POW at the famous "Hotel Hilton" in
Vietnam. Adm Stockdale was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions as a POW.

6th Film; "Search and Rescue". This film is about a F-4 Skyhawk pilot
that had to ditch his plane after he was hit on a bombing run over Vietnam.
As he parachuted at sea, and a Sea Sprite, Sea King and a AD Skyraider
went after him to rescue him from the sea. Great footage of all aircraft
