BRONZE CENSER FROM DELPHI MUSEUM

The original dated 460-450 B.C. is in the Archaeological Museum of Delphi . A vessel in the shape of a young woman karyatid wearing a peplos ("peplophoros"). In her upraised hands she holds a hemispherical cauldron in which the incense was placed.(018)
