The result showed that pomegranate juice has an antioxidant activity three times higher than the red wine and green tea infusion.
Punicic acid,a component of pomegranate seed oil, is the main fatty acid in pomegranate arils. And this powerful antioxidant is believed to be one of the substances that contributes to the many health benefits associated with pomegranates.
