This Bio Pond Filter CBF 200combines the mechanical as well as biological purification.
This Filter system provides for a stable and biological balance in large ponds and improves significantly the quality of water, yet without any chemicals. It makes the water clear and pure for pond sizes of up to 8000 l without fish and up to 4000 l with fish. In order to keep a good climate, to create a magnificent vegetation and to support the well-being of your fish, it is advisable to daily run the filter system for 24 h.
The efficient filtering procedure is done by materials such as a special yellow sponge and a special blue sponge with a varying flow speed of the pond water, a Japan mat.
This Bio Pond Filter System makes the pond water be pressed very slowly by means of a pump and an appropriate hose (both NOT included in the supply). First there are the filter sponges that purify the water mechanically from coarse suspended sediments and dirt particles on their surfaces. With the water being inside the filter media, there are micro organisms that gradually step by step accumulate, thus removing germs and bacteria. The Japan mat consists of raw polyester-based filaments with a large surface that likewise favour the colonization of bacteria.
