These particular Scovill zippers, are most distinctive and unique as they are exclusively of their own brands design. They don't indicate or reflect this major brands eventual acquisition of the famous Conmar zipper brand and the transition of Conmar's design elements and/or parts to begin having Scovill branding - on the slider heads and their pull tabs.

 Unknown precisely when Scovill began making zippers, though based upon the approximate ages of garments which we have seen them in, it seems to have been prior to Scovill buying Conmar Products, Corp.

HISTORY:
 Scovill bought Conmar Products, Corp. Preponderance of online details seem to identify June 16, 1965 as the actual date when the acquisition occurred. Unknown exactly how long it took for inventory to turn over completely to the Scovill branding. In the late 1990s, IDEAL Fastener Corporation acquired the Conmar brand, currently "producing historic and vintage zippers". Those, and "Reproduction/Repro-Zippers" have recently flooded the market (THAT'S "ABSOLUTELY-NOT" WHAT WE ARE SELLING).
