This really beautiful and unusual antique Plant Stand or Pedestal is original. It is a stand for potted plants or flower arrangements. The three pot holders are to hold flower pots or vases to display potted plants or flower arrangements. I think it is Mahogany but I’m not sure just what the wood is. It has a beautiful design and I believe it dates to the late 1800’s or very early 1900’s. It is antique/pre-owned in nice condition with some wear and minor bumps and bruises as photos show. THE POT HOLDERS VARY IN SIZE WITH THE INTERIOR OF THE HOLDER ON TOP MEASURING ABOUT 7 INCHES ACROSS. THE MIDDLE HOLDER ABOUT 6 1/4 INCHES ACROSS THE INTERIOR AND THE LOWER ONE ABOUT 5 3/4 INCHES. THE PEDESTAL OVERALL MEASURES ABOUT 38 INCHES TALL.

I’ve never seen another like this as I’ve researched the web and in 30 years of collecting so I expect it is rather rare.
