This centennial commemorative Olympic coin was produced by
the US mint in 1995.
This BU half dollar swimming coin comes with a protective
decorated outer box and a colorful tri-fold for the Young Collectors series
which incorporates the protective plastic casing for the coin.
There were only 49,571 of these coins produced and fewer still
with an intact collector’s box and tri-fold insert.
The obverse designer was William Krawczewicz which features
a swimmer.
The reverse designer is Malcom Farley who designed the
Atlanta logo.
