However, with this type of zipper, below the usual looking slider head, there is an upside down - second slider head which may be pulled upward by its tab, so that the wearer may easily bend at the waist, sit down and remain seated comfortably without completely separating/opening the coat's/jacket's/vest's - zipper.
The length stated was measured from just above the top metal, to just below the bottom metal - ends. Zipper may be shortened to exact length - by most any reasonably experienced alteration shop tailor.
