3 Greeting Card Choices:

Special Thoughts of You (Thinking of You)

My Heart's Gift (Love & Romance)

May the Singing of the Birds Always Be A Part of Your Day (All Occasion)

In the Victorian Era, how a lady fluttered a fan was more than just a way of keeping cool...It was a subtle way of communicating with a potential suitor. A handle touched to the lips invited a kiss. The top of the fan skimming the eyes expressed regret or sorrow.  Since they were used to communicate with, it was only natural that the fan evolved into some of the first greeting cards.

The Fan Greeting Cards are die-cut and embossed in great detail on heavy eighteen point stock, just as the originals were from the turn-of-the-century.  All cards are made by Old Print Factory.  All cards are suitable for framing.

All Fan Greeting Cards are individually shrink wrapped on a display board.  They open to approximately 10" x 14" and close to fit easily onto the mailing envelope that's packaged with each fan.  A silk cord with tassel hangs from the bottom of each fan.  Lavender Ladies Fan Card reads:  "Special Thoughts of You".  The Love & Romance Card has cherubs & tulips and the words, "My Heart's Gift".  The All Occasion Fan Card has birds sitting in a parasol with the words, "May the Singing of the Birds Always be a part of your day." and at the handle of the parasol it reads, "Days of Song".
