The 2 volumes covers are brown cloth boards with gold gilt title writing and ship decoration. The both covers have some surface shelf ware , light rubing to the corners and spine top and bottom. Volume 2 has a mark at the top. The hinges are good. Some play to the innerboards , otherwise the boards and endpapers are good. The inner boards and endpapers have libray stickers to them. Both the volumes are illustrated throughout (see pictures). Volume 1 is published 1893 and volume 2 is 1894. Volume 1 has 376 pages. The pages are in good clean condition throughout. Volume 2 has 376 pages. The pages are also in good condition throughout. The bindings are tight and square.
