The snake fly is a deadly pattern on its day it will account for some large fish. The trailing hook is a size 8 and is attached to the fly with a double length of rot proof Bonded Nylon woven through the hide of the fur for added strength and extra movement, unlike some wire or braid stiffer versions. The overall length of these flies is approximately 80 to 90mm.
