SIZING 

The dress does not have a size tag, but I believe it would best fit someone in the Small - Medium range (around a size 6-8).  The actual measurements are as follows: 

Bust: 18.5 inches across, underarm to underarm (37 inches around)
Shoulders: 14.75 inches across, seam to seam
Waist:  19.5 inches across (39 inches around) 
Hips: 20 inches across (40 inches around, measured at the drop waist seam)
Length: 46 inches from the shoulder to the hem 

Note: These are the actual measurements of the garment, so please leave yourself room for comfort of movement.  All measurements were taken with the item laying flat. The flat measurements were doubled to give an approximate measurement around.  

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • Fun vintage formal gown from the 1980s, made by JC Penny. 
  • No size tag. Measures like a size S/M (see measurements below)
  • Shiny peach satin with beige lace overlay
  • Short sleeves made out of sheer floral lace
  • Dainty white lace trim around the neckline and ends of sleeves
  • Low drop waist gives the dress a flapper look!
  • Skirt is a full circle of material.
  • The dress closes with a zipper down the back. 

Note that I displayed the dress over a crinoline to show off the fullness of the skirt.  However, the listing is just for the dress.  The crinoline is not included.


CONDITION

This dress is in excellent vintage condition!

Shipping:

I go to the post office every week day, Monday - Friday.  I typically ship items out one business day after I've received payment, so if I receive payment on Friday, your item will go in the mail Monday (although if I receive payment early enough, I might get it in the mail the same day). If you need an item to be shipped right away, just let me know and I will do my best to get it out to you as soon as possible! 

PLEASE NOTE: I will ship your item to the address listed on the Paypal payment, so please make sure that your address is up-to-date!  

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I am happy to ship internationally, but please note that as the buyer, you are responsible for any taxes or duties your customs office might charge on packages coming from the USA.  

 

Clothing Condition:

The large majority of the items in my store are vintage and/or pre-owned.  I will list any major flaws in the item description.  However, most vintage clothing has been around for several decades or more, and it may have some minor snags in the fabric, the occasional loose thread or other minimal signs of wear.  Vintage items may also have raw seams that have not been serged.  By purchasing, you are accepting that these items are used and may not be 100% perfect. However, if you feel I have overlooked a major flaw, please let me know!
