It's believed that Marimo will bring good luck and money. Hence they grow it in a glass bottle with some water & day light.Water change is only required once every 2 weeks.

Baby Marimo is about 1 year old and have a diameter of 0.2 inc (5 mm - 7 mm)

Each Baby Marimo comes in a clear,60mm hand-blown glass bottle with cork.

             Marimo Care

Marimo grow in tap water at room temperature as long as the water is changed every one or two weeks (more frequently in summer and less often in winter). The Marimo can be placed in the refrigerator in hot weather (above 30 degree C / 82 F ),but does not survive freezing. Photosynthesis occurs in normal household lighting.If the Marimo's color turns brownish it may recover without intervention, otherwise a very minimal amount of  salt can be added as a suggested remedy.

Slightly squeeze the Marimo in clean water every 9-10 days.This lovely baby Marimo does NOT cause algae problem!
