This floppy is a 100% working/tested “HD20 Startup” disk (Version 1.1) for your vintage Classic Macintosh Computers 512K.512Ke and Plus, this floppy is needed to load the Hard Disk 20 unit with the Macintosh 512K, with the 512Ke and Plus the drve is supported; the floppy contain the software to diagnose the status of the drive (HD 20 test) and initialise it if needed. The System 2.1 was introduced in 1985 to support the HFS (Hierarchical File System) that manage a true directory system and was created specifically to support the HD20.
This floppy is a faithful repro of the original Disk with the plasticized label as the original front/back 690-5067 B. I mark the floppy in the back with the ref that is a floppy Repro.
Pictures used in this auction were made using this floppy disk with my 512K Macintosh Computer.
