Cute Solid Wooden Purse. It is vintage because these were popular back in the mid 60s. It measures 7" wide x 4" tall and is lined with a animal print thick satin. The lining is in NEW condition. It has two large balls on top in brown and black that push open on both sides. The outside is light beige colored natural wood. It has magnets on the inside top that keep it closed. It has the original price tag inside which is $35.99. The goldtone chain attached to the top can be a long single chain but I have it looped 4 times to carry as a tote purse. It can be a long single chain, doubled, tripled and looped 4 times. It can also be removed (I do not think it would work well as a clutch). Weight: 1 lb 5 oz.
**These were popular back in the mid 60s. It is actually a vintage replica. I had one with a handle on top and I put my initials on the front, which you can do with this one. It does have a defect in one of the hinges on the bottom. I tried to fix it but it does not look the same as the other one but It is stable enough that it will not come apart as it does have a pin in it. I have opened and closed it and tested it and I do believe it is stable enough to work well. The inside is around 2" thick. I am discounting because of the hinge defect. It is already discounted Half Price (tag attached).
