The stand allows easy embroidering, cross stitching or tapestry using both hands and can be used as a table top stand or it will sit neatly on your lap to allow you complete comfort whilst creating your next masterpiece! 

The stand requires simple assembly by inserting the rods into the end frames and tightening up the 4 wing nuts. 

The red clips flip off and are used to clamp your material in place and then rotate the rods until your material is taut and tighten up the wing nuts to hold in place. 

Three size options are available in 30cm, 40cm & 60cm widths.

The 30cm width gives you a free working area of 30cm x 32cm. The 40cm width gives you a free working area of 40cm x 32cm and the 60cm width gives you a free working space of 60cm x 32cm.

Embroidery Needles

4 Different size packs of embroidery needles (also known as Crewel Needles) are also available in this listing. Each pack contains 16 needles and in the following options: 

• Size 3/9
• Size 5/10
• Size 7
• Size 8

 In comparison to general sewing ~ Embroidery (Crewel) needles tend to have a longer eye to enable easier threading of multiple embroidery threads and thicker yarns.

 As a general guide, needle sizing is referred to by its wire gauge number. The lower the number, the thicker the needle. For example, a pack of 3/9 would be an assortment of 16 needles ranging between size 3 and 9. A pack of size 8 would be all 16 needles in size 8 and is quite a thin diameter needle compared to a size 3.
