2 Handmade Vintage Teddy Bears 360 Degree Jointed red White ABCs Polka Dot Cloth. Condition is Used.

Handmade by a family friend about 30 years ago. This person is now a professional artist who takes commissions and makes very high quality items.

I don’t think it was handled much at all in that time, mostly sat in storage. Some minor age wear, a couple tiny age spots on the white Polka dot bear. Stuffing is firm and seams seem solid and not torn out or falling out. Some scuffing and minor pilling, but I really don’t think these bears saw much use.

The arms and legs are jointed in such a way that they rotate 360 degrees. You can feel a circular disk at the shoulder. They spin very fluidly. I get the sense the bears were made and stitched in a highly skilled way.

The white bear is wearing a bandana with beads. This was made a bit later I think, like 20 years ago or so.

The same fabric was used for both bears, but in opposite places. Feel free to ask any questions.
