Degué

A wonderful 1930 French art deco lamp in wrought iron. It was made between 1928 and 1936 to be precise. The detailed base is of excellent quality and a nice elegant design. The lamp is in very good condition. No chips or cracks. The iron has a deep-brown patina and a nice egg gloss appearance. The lamp is 36 cm high (14-11/64 inches). The forged base holds a nice coloured shade in mottled glass produced by Degue. It has the usual Degué signature in acid. 

It is wired with new cloth covered twisted cord and is equipped with a European E14 socket. For the United States and Japan I will rewire the lamp with an American candelabra base socket and US 2-prong plug.
