Description
An antique Chinese 18th/19th century 18K gold carved white and russet jade clams and lingzhi pendant.
This unusual and finely carved Qing dynasty white jade pendant shows a beautiful grouping of two clams with a lingzhi growing around it. The details are extraordinary with each clam intricately decorated with carved curved lines running across the front and back just as the shells look in real life. The jade is an even translucent white while one edge of one of the clams has tiny areas of russet which catch the light wonderfully. The pendant has a solid 18K gold bale and loop with unreadable rubbed hallmarks and tests for 18K gold.
The jade measures approximately 33mm x 22mm x 16mm thick. The bale and loop are about 23mm long. The pendant has a total weight of about 16.5 grams.
The pendant is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or other damage. It has all over general wear, mostly concentrated on the edges of the clams. Please note: All pictures were taken in natural daylight.

Items cannot be returned for any condition issues either shown in the pictures or mentioned in the listing. As many items we sell are one hundred years or older we will not accept returns for wear consistent with the item's age. Any item mentioned as sold 'as is' in the listing will not be eligible for any form of return or refund. If it is determined an item is eligible for a return, the item must be shipped back within 48 hours, insured and tracked. A restocking fee may apply.
