ROCOCO BEDROOM ARMOIR
There is a photo of 2 like screens, one Natasha hand painted and one she used her Mini Decoupage. Can you tell the difference?

Natasha's Mini Decoupage Decor comes in many authentic period styles, including Victorian, Rococo, Americana, Sheraton, Russian, Chinoiserie and more
Also in very limited quantities of Natasha's limited edition collection

**In Natasha's words..."Many years ago I was walking on Madison Ave in New York and came across a shop window displaying some exquisitely beautiful miniatures. As an artist, I was intrigued and decided to try it myself. Several months later, I returned to the shop and showed my work to the owner. She was astonished. "Do you mean that you actually painted these?" she asked. "These other ones are decoupaged!"
When I first started exhibiting my own miniature painted pieces at shows, people kept asking where I got my decals. Again and again, I had to explain that they weren't decals and that they were my original paintings. Although it bothered me at first, I began to realize that there was an obvious interest in original decoupage designs in miniature. The Mini Decoupage line that I created to fill this need includes over fifty designs from different eras and various limited edition collectible designs."  Excerpt from Dollhouse Miniatures magazine June 2001

"Decoupage" is a French word that means "cutting out" The art form flourished in Victorian times and although it has been called the "poor man's art," such luminaries as Marie Antoinette and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis have practiced the craft. Decoupage is typically applied to wooden furniture pieces: tables, desks, chairs, chests, screens, and boxes. In full-scale decoupage, paper cutouts are practically drowned under many layers of lacquer, with careful sanding between applications. With Natasha's technique, the process is much simpler.
Included with your decoupage print sheet are easy and precise instructions in 3 languages. I also will include a copy of the 4-page article that was done on Natasha's Mini Decoupage in Dollhouse Miniature magazine. There you will find more how-tos and additional information.

WARNING!! The following may be very boring for the Non-Doll or Miniature enthusiast!

A BIT ABOUT ME:
Often people ask where I get my inventory or how I came about to make a living from loving Dolls and Miniatures. I had a shop in Aurora Oregon and due to health issues had to close it in the Spring of 2018 and I moved back to my hometown on South Whidbey Island in Washington State.
I am working from home, doing shows, and hopefully will start giving classes again.   Most of my Vintage Doll things came from my buying Best Dressed Dolls in the late '90s. and buying Estates since. I don't have anywhere near what I used to have due to the theft of a large portion of my inventory.
Being the only access to Natasha Beshenkovsky's Mini Decoupage and Dana's Miniature Doll Art Tutorials has helped my business grow like I never imagined.  There is a "tour" you can take on u-tube from when I had my shop open only a few months. It's a double treat because Dana is there giving a class! She even gives a quick lesson on curling hair for your mini dolls! Check it out!  Search YouTube for: A Visit to Heirlooms Dollhouse Miniatures & More.
I am always interested in consigning or buying Estates, well the collectible parts! I also have also been an active consigner in the Doll & Miniature world, bonded & Insured, with many references, I would love to talk to you if you have treasures you are ready to part with or your own work that you may be ready to sell. I have accounts on eBay, Etsy, Amazon and also work with many other Auction Houses. I have been active in auctions for about 25 years. I am excellent at researching and helping you price if need be.
I was raised by my Grandmother who was a world-renowned Doll Doctor and did Historic costuming. At one time she had one of the largest Antique Doll collections in the North West. Of course, we had Dollhouses everywhere too! When I say I have always been around dolls, I am not kidding! I learned from the best and have her to thank for my passions and oh how I wish she was still here to have "Tea" with me and our Dolls!
Please know, I do my best, to be honest, and fair. If you feel I have misrepresented something or made a mistake PLEASE don't hesitate to tell me! That is the only way to learn and I will do all I can to fix the problem.
I live alone with my 4-1/2# Chihuahua here on "my" Island. His name is Tip and he LOVES to wear clothes and we have so much fun.
I love to see pictures of what my friends (you aren't a customer after I know you're name!) are up to with their hobbies. Share your passions with me via email and I will be sure to respond. I have a website also, just no time to do anything with it!  I don't even go to facebook very often.
If you have made it this far I thank you for reading all my rants and raves!
Happy mini-ing and Dolly-ing My friends!  Hugs, Wendy
