We go to estate sales regularly and come across a wide array of unique and rare items.  We add to our growing online inventory daily.  We pick up new items from all over the world and all over the US.  We also have a growing customer wish list.  If you'd like to, feel free to add us to your saved seller's list and let us know what you collect and/or need.  We’d be honored to add you to our customer wish list.

We ask what we consider to be a fair price for anything we sell and understand that our idea of a fair price may be someone else's 'that's too much' price.  If that's the case, feel free to make us an offer and will consider it.  We also have sales regularly, so check back often.

There is always a Sale by TheBay!

We just came across 150 or more remote controls for myriad electronics.  The gentleman we got them from refurbished and repaired them.  The couple had moved to Vegas and had an estate sale at their house here which had sold.

As you may now, IR remote controls can be tested by pushing each button while pointing the IR transmitter at the lens of a digital camera.  When looking through the viewing screen on the camera, the IR transmitter will light up/flicker when each button is pressed.  There are some buttons on universal remotes that will only work (light up when pressed) when the appropriate device is selected.  For example, play, pause, ffwd, etc. will often times not work when in TV mode, but will when DVD or VCR mode is selected.  Also, some universal remotes do not send out an IR signal when a device button is selected, so the IR light on the remote will not light up/flicker when the button for the device is pressed.

We will be listing the remotes over the next few weeks or so and they cover many different brands and models of equipment.  If you are looking for a particular remote, we'd be happy to see if we have one that has not been listed yet, just message us a request.

Now onto the item for sale.

For sale is an original Hewlett Packard remote control, model RC1622301/00.

This remote control is still extremely clean and was in a taped plastic bag when we got it.  The body, script and buttons show virtually no signs of wear or use.

We tested this remote control using the method described above and found every button to be working properly.  I have personally been in the low voltage industry for 29 years and I have used this method to test remote controls for consumer electronics for as long as digital cameras have been around.  As a business man, I always liked when the piece of equipment was found to be faulty since I ended up replacing it with a new piece of equipment.

PLEASE NOTE:  We did not include any model numbers that will work with this remote. They can be obtained by doing a quick internet search and/or search on here of your remote model number.  We highly advise that you confirm that this remote will work with your piece of equipment and verify that the model number and buttons are EXACTLY identical to the model number and buttons on your current remote.  If one button is different, it is not the same remote.  If the model number is different, it still might work with your piece of equipment, but you would need to verify if it is compatible.  We also recommend you test your remote using the method above to ensure that it is your remote control that isn't working and not the piece of equipment BEFORE purchasing a replacement remote from us, or anyone else.

This item will be shipped in a padded envelope via insured ground advantage with the USPS.  We wrap all our items that ship in padded envelopes in cardboard for extra protection during shipping.

Thanks for looking and God bless!
