Red Wing Shoe Co. began making 6-inch boots with "flatbox" features in the 1920s-30s. “Flatbox” is a terminology that signifies toe of shoe, made without “box-toe”, that is a part of retaining the toe shape. Inspired by our Heritage, new Beckman "Flatbox" boots without “box-toe” are easy to break-in and superb comfort. They retain Red Wing Heritage durability with the use of Gro Cord Medallion soles with non- slip function. They turn out significantly charming silhouettes as they aged with wear.
