Vintage Monterey Art Pottery Baby Shoe or Planter.  I believe this was made in the mid 1970's.  The lady that I got it from said she got it when her child was born and that was in 1976.  The shoe has the original ribbon for the shoe laces and the tongue of the shoe is glazed with a light blue.  The piece is stamped on the bottom and there are no chips, cracks, breaks, or scratches.  Measures 4 1/2: long by 2" wide by 2" high.

Most of the items that I sell are antique or vintage as as such they do show signs of patina, use, and age.  That only adds to the character that so many collectors desire.  If there are any major issues or defects, I try to describe them to the best of my ability and as accurately as possible.  In the event that I do miss something with words, I provide you with plenty of pictures to be included as part of the description.
