G.VIARMÉ

A beautiful pair of 1925-1930 French art deco wall sconces in nickel plated solid brass or bronze holding two nice glass panels in molded-pressed glass. Georges Viarmé had a workshop in Paris (at 156 rue de la Roquette). For some of his fixtures he had custom made shades for which he ordered signed with his own signature on the glass. It´s unknown which French glass factory made these shades for Viarmé, can be Muller Schneider Degué Hanots EJG or Choisy le Roi.

The wall lights are 17,5 cm high (6-29/32") and 25 cm wide (9-27/32"). They project 7,5 cm from the wall. And are in excellent condition. The nice mounts have been re-nickeled and patinated. The last picture shows the fixtures before I replated them. Both shades are signed Viarmé France and have some unimportant small chip around the rim, completely hidden by the mounts. The sconces are newly wired with European E14 socket. For the USA or Japan I will place American candelabra base ones.

Free worldwide shipping. The sconces will be shipped with full insurance by priority mail.
