M.Hudry & Muller frères

A beautiful pair of 1925-1930 French art deco wall lights in nickel on cast solid brass or bronze holding shades in frosted molded-pressed glass. The sconces were made by Marcel Hudry. He a producer of bronze and forged iron lighting fixtures. Hudry had a large company in Paris (13 rue de Crussol) working mainly in a neo-classical style but he made lamps sconces and chandeliers in modern (art déco) style as well.

The mounts are represented in the old Hudry catalog (see last picture). The shades were made by Muller and both are signed Muller freres Luneville. The wall sconces are 22 cm high (8-21/32") and the shades have a diameter of 10,9 cm. The sconces project 19 cm from the wall. They are in very good condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated the fixtures and they come rewired. For the US and Japan I placed American candelabra base sockets. For European countries I will place E14 ones.

Free worldwide shipping. The sconces will be shipped with full insurance by priority mail.
