I am offering a pair of vintage souvenir decorative plates from the American capital, Washington, D.C., feature a central image of the Capitol with depictions around the rim of the U.S. Supreme Court Building, the U.S. Marine Corps War Memorial, the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, the Lincoln Statue and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, interspersed with cherry blossoms. The plates were made in Japan, dating them to before the time when production of this design was moved to China.
