Primitive Tarahumara Indian Doll Hand Carved Raramuri North West Mexico

This is a gorgeous primitive folk art set of dolls. One of a kind dolls made of wood.

I presume they are from Latin America. Peru maybe. There are no marks on the dolls or the base, so it's hard to know.

Mom and Dad wear ethnic clothes under their wool blanket poncho. Mom is holding a tiny baby wrapped up in colorful fabric.

They stand on a wooden oval base lined on the bottom with green felt.

Size: 8" tall and the base is 7.5" x 4"

In excellent vintage condition. They just might be dusty. The bottom felt is worn.

NOTE: Please refer to photos for more detailed condition they are part of the description.

Please remember this is a vintage or used item and will show some signs of use or wear. If you are in doubt as to the condition of the item please ask for clarification before you purchase.
