For sale is one new:  Caseback Gasket for Timex Expedition WS4 Watches.

This is a suitable replacement for the caseback gasket at the battery access on Timex WS4 watches.  For proper installation, lightly coat gasket with pure silicone watch grease.  Use of grease serves to condition the gasket, ensures a good seal, prevents binding, and helps hold the gasket in place.

Notes:

1) Caseback removal should be carefully done with coin similar to US Quarter.  Coin should only be used for initial loosening and final tightening.  To prevent crossthreading, use walking motion with fingertips to gently screw and unscrew caseback; this should require virtually no force.  Do not overtighten.

 

2) Reset may be required after battery changes; to perform, depress and hold four main buttons until beep is heard.  If your watch presents display or sensor errors, leave the battery out for several minutes to allow the memory to clear.

3) Please note that the WS4 is rated for incidental water contact only.  It is not waterproof and should never be immersed or exposed to prolonged contact with water.  In the event of accidental water breach, it should immediately be serviced by a professional to prevent damage to the circuitry.
