The fatter / darker FatRock version of the Amptweaker TightRock can be used as a distortion or as a preamplifier directly in a power amp. In terms of features, it is identical to the TightRock, but the sound has been optimized to expand the lower frequency range of the Tight and Tone controls and to add a boost to the front end for a slightly less aggressive attack and to boost the low end . The FatRock also has an optimized noise gate that works more smoothly and harmonizes better with the reduced highs of the FatRock so that it sounds better for solos. A cool feature is the SideTrak? -Effects loop that is active when the pedal is in bypass? kind of like a built-in A / B box.
