Item Description


 
 Modern day XC rim: The right width to run wide tires necessary to be competitive on todays demanding Cross Country courses. The welded construction of the XR 361 and the bead blasted, anodized finish are on par with your high end XC ride. The use specific profile, the custom alloy and the use of the PHR nipple interface allow to pair the unpairable: Wide, strong and light.

Adapted rim
New rim profile - wider and lighter. Wheels feature a unique rim profile that addresses the trend for wider rims in a lightweight package, but still remains durable. All wheels feature rim profiles engineered specifically to maximize the rim's material across all categories of weight, width and performance.

Tubeless ready All our wheels are designed to be tubeless ready with the use of our tubeless rim tape. The rims have been carefully engineered to feature a profile that minimizes the forces applied on the rim sidewall. This optimized rim bed yields fast tire installation, and a great tire fit, allowing for quick and trouble-free tubeless setup.

Straight pull spokes
Straight Pull wheels use high precision straight pull spokes for the perfect strength to weight ratio. Stronger than conventional spokes, they are still true- and replaceable with standard tools.

Pro Head® Reinforcement System (PHR system)
Due to it's larger and more spherical contact area, the new PHR system is designed to balance the loads transferred to the rim. Working in conjunction with the rim's design, the PHR system acts as a ball and socket interface allowing the spoke to pivot and follow the perfect trajectory from the hub to rim. Overall, this system allows for consistency throughout the build process, easy wheel truing and reduced spoke breakage.

 

Spoke positioning
The straight Pull  hub shell design and straight pull spokes allow for an optimized position of the spoke anchor points, creating a stiffer, more responsive wheel.

Spoke anchors
Due to the shape of the spoke anchors, spoke pull has only minimal effects on the bearing seats, which in turn considerably increases bearing longevity.

Lacing pattern
SP hubs are optimized for their respective lacing pattern. This ensures that the spokes align with mathematical precision so that material use is minimized for the best strength to weight ratio. More

Wheels are shipped in a custom wheel box, insuring that they will arrive to you safe-and-sound. This builder allows you to build a complete wheel set, or a single front/rear wheel if desired.
