Programming instructions - Do it yourself

If there is no existing remotes you must disarm the vehicle at stated in step 2. Remove Negative Terminal on car battery (if you have more than one battery in car this will also need to be disconnected for 30 Seconds
and then place it back on immediately begin step 3 (Best to have someone help you)

Remote Programming

  • 1- Ensure Drivers Door is open
  • 2- Lock & Unlock door with old remote
  • You have 10 Seconds to begin step 3
Corolla & Prado
        3- Insert key in ignition. Turn from off to on 20 times within 12 seconds Leaving key in the off position after 20th turn (if programming is unsuccessful try turning key 26 times)
Tip - when turning key from off to on just keep doing this a quick as possible until hazard lights flash, when we program them we dont count how many times


Hilux & Landcrusier
        3 -  Insert key in ignition. Turn from Accessories to on 20 times within 12 seconds Leaving key in the off position after 20th turn (if programming is unsuccessful try turning key 26 times)
Please note we will not send instructions with item you will need to print this out yourself

If successful the indicators will flash 20 times - you are now in programming mode - Tip - when turning key from off to on just keep doing this a quick as possible until hazard lights flash, when we program them we dont count how many times

Important- DO NOT press any remote buttons until hazard lights stop flashing. Once in programming mode you must program in in at least one remote control

        4 - Press any button on old remote, now press any button on new remotes supplied by us (Hazard lights shall flash once

Note- Some 100 series land cruisers require you to turn the key from off to on in step 3 instead


TIP FOR PROGRAMMING REMOTE

it will come down to timing it must be done quickly
if you have no working remote you must disconnect battery for 30 seconds than reconnect (just place terminal back on) and quickly jump back in the car to start programming procedure - please leave driver’s door open
Now when we do it we dont even count how many times we cycle key to on/off just keep doing this as quick as possible until hazard lights start flash
once hazard lights start flashing car is now in programming mode for you

After the 20 flash of the indicators, press the button once on each transmitter. The hazards light will flash once for each remote to confirm the remote has been added into the car.

7.    Once finished, turn the ignition key to the ON position then back to OFF to save the transmitter information and exit from the programming mode


Additional key programming procedure

  1. All doors closed, no key in the ignition lock.
  2. INSERT the existing master key into the ignition (do not turn)
  3. Turn the key from LOCK to ON 5x.
  4. OPEN and CLOSE the driver's door 6x
  5. Remove the master key.
  6. Insert the new key to be registered into the ignition and turn to the ON position
  7. Wait at least 60 seconds
  8. If other keys to be added, repeat steps 6&7
  9. Open and close the driver's door. FINISHED. 

if this procedure doesn't work try this one
– Close all door - Insert the master transponder key. Do not turn it. Push and release the gas pedal 5 times within 15 seconds of inserting the master key.
– Press and release the brake pedal 6 times within 20 seconds of completing step 3, then remove the master transponder key.
– Insert the newly cut transponder key into the ignition, but do not turn. Press the gas pedal once.
– Wait (up to 2mins) for the security light on the dashboard to stop blinking. 
Once the light goes off, remove the new transponder key and press the brake pedal once.
- The new transponder key should now be programmed. Test the key by attempting to start the engine. If the engine does not start, repeat the steps above.
