Here we have a very attractive small pitcher with lilies of the valley on either side.  This was designed and molded in very fine detail by a master potter with great skill.  The inside of the pitcher has a pale blue glaze.  Measuring 4 ½”in height to the top of the spout and handle the pitcher is in near mint condition with tiny glaze flakes inside the rim that don’t detract.  This and the following “rose pitcher” both have the same four lobed base and were likely made by the same potter.  The potter who made this pitcher is unknown, still the pitcher is handsome and attractive in its own right.  This is the only pitcher I’ve ever seen in this form and does not appear in any of the books on collecting yellow ware.
