Up for sale is a very nice colored lithograph - BARRED OWL & SAW-WHET OWL - Plate #87.

From:  Report on the Birds of Pennsylvania: With Special Reference to the Food Habits. Author: Pennsylvania, Ornithologist, Benjamin Harry Warren. 2nd edition. Published in 1890 by E.K. Meyers, State printer in Harrisburg. 434 pages. Illustrated with One hundred beautiful antique color plates of various bird species typical of the Eastern U.S.

It measures approximately 6 x 9 /12 inches.  It is not matted or framed.  It is blank on the reverse side.

This piece has been clipped from the above mentioned book and there is a bit of irregularity along the edges and holes from where it was once bound. This can be cut off and it will look nice framed.

Overall, it is a Very Nice Print.  Some age-related toning and browning.  A few wrinkles/creases in the paper.  Nicks and chips along the edges and the corners are creased.  A few pencil marks.
