Description


This is a gorgeous SWIRL MILK/WATER PITCHER  made by the late BB (Burlon) Craig (1914-2002). It has a beautiful Swirl brown and cream  Glaze with nice ear handle and BB’s signature thumb print at the bottom. It also has a super pinch spout. It is stamped BBC on the bottom. This great  piece of Utilitarian pottery measures approximately 7 ½” tall x 6 ½” wide from shoulder to edge of handle. This Milk Pitcher is in Mint condition! BB Craig was born in Lincoln County, NC and learned to make pottery as a teenager. When he returned from WWII he purchased the Reinhardt farm and pottery complex in Vale, NC where he started his business. His pottery is featured in several publications and in National Endowment for the Arts National Heritage Fellowship. This Utilitarian Water Pitcher is in excellent condition and is a true collector piece – would be a perfect addition to any collection!
