Montre Gousset signed

 J. MOSER & Co. (Discovered in South France)

18th Century / 19th century.

Unique et rarissime. Unic and rare. Working fine despite it's age.

État : Occasion

Johannes Moser was the grand-father of the founder of the H. Moser & cie. So i guess it s from the 18th or 19th century.

The company is still famous worldwide for unique watches.

Johannes Moser (1730 - 1820 ) was a small watch maker "horloger" working in a switzerland canton and he teached his art to his son,

later it's his grand son who become world famous especially in Russia, as he made  watch for famous people , Lenin...

It s interresing to see the similiraty with logos between gran father and son.

The mécanism, the logo & the shape make me think that this watch is from Johannes.

Use all photos to make your own opinion...

On the last photo you see the answer from my email to h.moser & cie who recognize the watch but explain me that they lost their old catalogue during the ww2.
