New Purpose Made Model All Terrain Root Buster 3mm British Steel Metal Detector Detecting Digging Spade Shovel
This spade has been redesigned and hand crafted to be stronger than before.
By lengthening the shaft on the blade gives it even more strength
making it as near to indestructible as possible.
It is now way stronger maybe not pretty but PRETTY STRONG.
The blade 7 inches long, has a strengthening V shape and lip made of
3 mm British steel mig welded by an expert.
The shaft is 25 X 25 square tube giving added strength, round at the hand grip.
Length 37" or 95 cms. Weight 3.1 lbs or 1.6 kilos
Finished with Hammerrite paint
Same weight as normal spades but much stronger.

In pursuit of the PERFECT SPADE the story "so far"
Having used factory spades blades 2 mm thick proved to be weak and breakable.
So I developed this spade 3 mm British Steel to be as strong as possible.
I now lengthened the shaft on the blade giving it a 25mmX6mm thick central rib
making it really much stronger, dare I say INDESTRUCTABLE well maybe not
but it sure is strong.
After being out on hard dry soil I have now changed the design again to the same
shape as the budget spade as it really gets into the dry hard ground. 24/05/21
I could make the blade from 4 mm steel giving it more strength but adding more
weight to be lugged around.
So for now I feel that the design I have is as near to perfect as I can get taking into
account weight constrictions.
