This casting is pretty rare. Unlike many others it was never used in the Mebetoy line.
It only appeared in the Hot Wheels Gran Toros Series.

Mebetoys was purchased by Mattel in 1969 and became a subsidiary of Mattel at that time.
The company continued to produce Mattel cars until 1984.
The Gran Toros are the early production cars produced to favor the USA market,
with later cars more favorable to the European purist market.
At this point, I think they were trying to rescue the company by going back to it's roots.
This will very likely gain value!
