1.) Dear Cyclist, this speedometer works generally on most bicycles. However, some of very few bicycles have wider gap between forks and suspension for which you will need a additional shim to reduce the gap between the magnet and the sensor of this speedometer. This means you may have to put shim(s) to get the gap right between magnet and sensor. There is no shim provided in this package.
