 Dries Van Noten worked with British artist Gill Button to capture the tumultuous relationship between and style icon Marchesa Casati and her lover Gabriele d?Annunzio, the inspiration for his AW 2016 show and lookbook.

Her collaboration with the Belgian designer is the result of six months of communication.

After discovering Button on Instagram - she uses the handle @buttonfruit - Van Noten reached out to her about possibly working together for his last collection
