THE SINGLE NAMED PLAYER ONLY. From a 66 card boxed set comprised of All-Stars.

In 1990 Topps made available, only through an apparently very limited TV promotion, several 66 card sets. There were FIVE individual team issues comprising only players, coaches and some minor leaguers from those teams. The various boxes state "Featuring ...All Members on the 1990 opening day Major League roster". The team names are featured prominently in a horizontal position on the left card borders. The only teams released, perhaps considered the most popular, were the Cardinals, Cubs, Mets, Red Sox and Yankees. On the factory sealed boxes, these were titled "Special Glossy 66 card Team Set" -Premier Collector's Edition.

The SIXTH boxed set was comprised of All Stars and features those words, rather than the team name, on the left card border. A few players, from the five teams in the series have both a 'TV All Star' and 'TV team card'.

It should be noted that the word "TV" does not appear on any card or factory set box. This has become the hobby designated name to describe these issues.
