A dainty and unusual lightweight evening cocktail bag from the 1950s. Good vintage condition with no damage to the fabric but a few rust marks seen on base interior and exterior. See last 2 photos.
The fabric is unusual and made from silver lurex braid and white plastic braid sewn together. This has a crisp firm handle. Bag has a firm base and stands well on its own when full.
The drawstrings have a great detail with matching bobbles in white and silver
Unlined. Rust type marks on base. Complete with a cloakroom or raffle ticket form a vintage dance.
