We're offering single Schaller M6 135 screw locking tuners in right and left handed options to let you build custom sets for your guitar, for example pair one tuner with a 6 in line set to get a 7 in line set. The orientation is in reference to a standard 6 in line set, so a right handed tuner would match a 6 in line right handed set, a left handed tuner would match a 6 in line left handed set (a right handed player with a reversed headstock would need a left handed tuner to add to a 6 in line set). The 21 mm tuner post height is the same as the EAD bass strings of the standard Schaller staggered 6 in line locking set and the 19.5 mm post height is the same as the GBe treble strings of the staggered set (so if you need a Low B string tuner to make a 7 string set, the 21 mm post height would normally be the best option). These single tuners have their small .01 button usually used on 6 in line sets.

The Schaller M6 locking tuners have the attachment screw offset at a 45 degree angle to the tuner post, this set up is common on a lot of 6 in line headstock designs from Ibanez, Schecter, ESP/Ltd and Jackson. The locking system is operated by a thumb screw on the back of the tuner for quick and easy string changes. The enclosed gears feature a 1:18 gear ratio for accurate tuning with Schaller's Velvet-Tec and LX6-Lube technologies to ensure the gears mesh and turn smoothly and precisely, backlash is minimised and it also adds durability.
