How We Work:
We never present an article for sale unless we would love to have it (or have owned it!) ourselves.
We are committed to informing you with the most accurate portrait we can render.
All merchandise, but especially vintage and pre-owned, are carefully checked in advance.
From time to time, we may miss a small flaw or blemish outside the expected general wear.
We apologize for this, but it happens.
With respect to vintage garments in particular:
they will naturally show signs of age
color intensity may be tempered
hemlines may be altered
beads will often be loose or missing
sometimes button holes are stretched
Please allow for this inevitability, and remember that it is the patina of age that gives character and charm to these items.
In all cases, we encourage you to look carefully at all pictures, and/or contact us with any questions prior to purchase.
CLEANING AND MENDING:
The merchandise (if needed and if possible) is cleaned, washed, ironed, aired out, or given whatever restoration we can provide —within reason— before we send it to you.
*We generally do not dry-clean items. With vintage garments especially we have found it is better to allow the customer to choose his or her cleaning method.
I am not a seamstress and more often than not leave a minor repair to the customer, such as mending a slight lining rip, or repairing a belt loop. It has proven to be better to have the buyer use the repair method or restoration he or she prefers.
COLOR AND SIZE:
Different computer monitors and settings may produce slight variations in color.
All garments are measured flat and are approximate.
*Vintage sizing will not be the same as contemporary sizing, so check the measurements!
Please pay careful attention to the specific measurements listed and compare them against a similar item from your closet to ensure an accurate fit.
RETURN POLICY:
I am glad to accept returns. I want you to be happy with your purchase.
Item/s must be returned in the condition received--no odors, smoke, cologne or pet hair, etc.
No evidence of having been worn/washed. If the item has tags they must be attached and not removed.
Buyer assumes shipping costs if item does not fit or suit.
Seller assumes costs if item is significantly different from listing.
