CeruShield Disk is the new wax system from the new type of hearing aids from Phonak designed as an easy to use dispenser wheel
The CeruShield Disk consists of 8 new CeruShield filters and 8 positions for easy disposal of used wax filters
CeruShield filters protects the receiver from wax related problems and offers longer wearing time between filter changes
CeruShield filters have been designed specifically to be used with the new SDS 4.0 receivers
Please note that these CeruShield filters/ wax guards are only compatible with the new SDS 4.0 Receivers (used on Phonak Marvel Unitron Discover & Hansaton Excite hearing aids) and is NOT compatible with older receivers
THE DIFFERENCE
CeruShield filters/ wax guards are INCOMPATIBLE with the older type of receiver wires
Old receiver wires have a 2-pin attachment to the hearing aid
The new receiver wires SDS 4.0 have a 3-pin attachment to the hearing aid

For example:
Phonak CeruShield disks were launched in the UK market in November 2018 to fit the Marvel series hearing aids with the new SDS 4.0 receivers (speakers).
These receivers have 3 pins
Note they are not compatible with any Phonak hearing aids purchased before this date
Like: Audeo Q, Audeo V and Audeo B series hearing aids that use the "Cerustop" wax filter system and the old receiver wires/ speakers with 2 pins
