French Antique Art Deco/Modernist Christofle/Alfenide Bowl

A sleekly elegant oval, silverplated bowl by Christofle – signed Alfenide which was the company’s silverplating subsidiary.

It is stamped and hallmarked OC for Orfevrerie Christofle.

Measuring 12 ½ inches by 8 ¼ inches, it stands 2 ¼ inches high.

It has a very modernist styling with curves on the sides and is in excellent condition, with faint traces of surface wear.

Useful to have on hand, it would look very sophisticated on a table to present bread, biscuits and even as a vegetable server.

If there is a problem, please send me an email within 7 days of receipt of the item, explaining the situation and I will reply as quickly as possible. The item must be sent back in the same condition and in the same packaging. The buyer pays for the return postage costs.
